What does cosmetic dentistry focus on?

Will cosmetic work look natural?
Yes. Modern materials and techniques produce results that are genuinely difficult to tell apart from natural teeth — even up close. We match shade and translucency to your existing teeth, not a generic shade card.
Whitening at home or in-office — what's the difference?
Take-home trays use our professional gel over several days and brighten by 4–8 shades — and the trays are reusable for touch-ups. BriteSmile in-office uses a stronger gel activated by light, brightening 6–10 shades in about an hour. Many patients combine both: BriteSmile for a head start, trays for upkeep.
Lumineers or Veneers — which is right for me?
Lumineers are ultra-thin and need almost no prep on your natural tooth — great for minor reshaping or color changes with minimal discomfort. Traditional porcelain veneers are slightly thicker, require more preparation, and are a better fit for larger transformations or correcting more significant chips, gaps, or alignment. We'll walk through both at your consultation.
Does cosmetic work hurt?
Most treatments are comfortable. Whitening and Snap-On Smile are completely non-invasive. Bonding and Lumineers usually require little to no anesthesia. Traditional veneers involve some tooth preparation under local anesthesia. We'll always tell you what to expect before we start.
How long do cosmetic results last?
Whitening typically holds for 6–12 months and is easily refreshed with your trays. Bonding lasts 10+ years. Lumineers and porcelain veneers can last 15–20 years with proper care. Snap-On Smile lasts 3–5 years.
