Orthodontics

Straight teeth without the metal look

Modern orthodontics is comfortable, low-profile, and built around your life. Invisalign aligners or translucent ceramic braces — we'll help you choose what fits your case.

Treatments

Two modern paths to a straighter smile

Invisalign

A modern way to straighten teeth without conventional braces. A series of clear, custom plastic aligners gradually shift your teeth into place.

  • Virtually undetectable — most people won't notice you're wearing them
  • Removable for eating, brushing, and flossing
  • Computer-planned: you see the projected result before you start
  • Best for mild to moderate spacing or crowding

Clear Braces

Translucent ceramic braces that work like traditional braces — without the metal look. A great fit for adults and teens who want a polished appearance during treatment.

  • Translucent ceramic, not metal
  • Specifically designed not to stain or wear over time
  • Available for most cases — including more complex alignment
  • Fixed in place, so no compliance worries

Once teeth are in their new position, a retainer keeps them there for the long term.

FAQ

Common questions about orthodontics

Invisalign or clear braces — which is right for me?

Invisalign is the right call when you want maximum invisibility and the ability to remove the aligners — and your case is mild to moderate. Clear braces work for a wider range of cases, including more complex alignment, and don't rely on you remembering to wear them. We'll review both options at your consultation.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on the case. Mild Invisalign cases can finish in 6–12 months; more involved cases run 12–18 months. Clear braces typically run 18–24 months. We give you a realistic timeline based on your bite, not a generic estimate.

Are clear braces really hard to see?

Clear braces are translucent ceramic — you can see them up close, but they blend with your tooth color much better than metal braces. From across a room or in photos, most people don't notice them.

Can I eat normally with Invisalign?

Yes. Aligners come out before meals, so there are no food restrictions. Just brush before putting them back in.

Will it affect how I speak?

Some patients notice a slight lisp during the first few days of Invisalign as the tongue gets used to the aligners. It usually fades within a week. Clear braces don't typically affect speech.

Does orthodontic treatment hurt?

There's pressure when teeth start to move — usually a mild ache for a day or two after a new aligner or an adjustment, then nothing. Over-the-counter pain relief is more than enough for most patients.
